The team assignment was the development of a strategic business plan for and with Agrobanco with a 5-year scope (2013-2017). This business plan consists of 4 main parts:
- The commercial plan on what actions are needed to achieve the specified ambition levels of Agrobanco
- The enabling organisational environment to specify in terms of organisational structure, ownership structure, distibution channel policy, branch network policy, IT/Operations and HR policy - all from the viewpoint of enabling the strategy and ambition level.
- The financials of the organisation to be realised. Translate the ambition values from the strategy into key performance indicators (KPIs) for Agrobanco. Develop financial projections for the strategic business plan including determining Agrobanco's major cost and revenue drivers, with respect to its current activities and the projected activities (also related to the commercial and organisational part of the business plan).
- An implementation plan that specifies the actions needed to be taken to realise the business plan
